Dr. Trueblood received his bachelor of arts degree in zoology from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. From there, he went on to complete his medical degree, internship, and surgical residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. Following that, Dr. Trueblood underwent several fellowships: the first in rehabilitation at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, California; the second in orthopedics at the University of Washington in Seattle; and the third in children’s orthopedics at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Trueblood concluded his medical training with a clerkship in reconstructive orthopedics at the University of Oxford in Oxford, United Kingdom.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Trueblood serves as a Diplomate on the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Trueblood is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
